Is note taking or blogging even a thing anymore? I'm using AI so much these days and (almost) blindly agentic this and that, however this public version of my notes is my last bastion of original thought. If that's even a thing. I was thinking of plugging AI in here for deeper context against all my private notes, assuming this might make me smarter (or just appear to be in public) but that's the thing ... "smart" these days I think is, who has the ability to organise their thoughts more clearly? *So they can write better prompts...* So if I let AI take over my note taking and organise it for me, tag it, structure it, whatever ... then will I lose the ability to organise it myself? I'm pretty sure that any job that requires someone to sit behind a screen and process information is on the way out. If you think about it, a generation ago our parents weren't optimising dot files for their ideal programming setup, and the next generation I can't even imagine. Ironically there'll probably be even more AI generated code, but no more software engineers. Maybe I'll just become a Senior Thought Engineer.
